There’s something so calming about smooth jazzy guitars and this is precisely why I fell for Jhyve’s latest single, Feel Something, which you might have heard already in my Weekly Vibes playlist. The Canadian singer discovered and helped develop the fierce Jessie Reyez and he doesn’t lack any talent himself. Back in March 2016, he released the Heartbreak Experience EP which amassed almost 500K streams on Spotify and he intends to continue sharing his soulful and eclectic melodies with the rest of the world, which is exactly what I like about his music that feels like a fresh and surprising cocktail on a hot summer day.
Written, produced and performed by Jhyve, Feel Something comes from a place of feeling that all people want is to feel loved and connected to someone. This song opens the discussion about when someone doesn’t feel that in a relationship based on insecurities or lack of attention or simply an inability to share that side of them.
